| Welcome to our sport pages. Here you’ll
find the details of our new series, Active Learning in Sport, designed
for students of degrees and foundation degrees.
Active Learning in Sport
is the first series of sport textbooks to make learning about sport
more like doing sport itself. Each book contains activities, learning
objectives and self-test questions, placing emphasis firmly on the
application of knowledge. As the books have been tailored to UK
courses, this new series focuses mainly on UK examples and policies,
making it easier for students to relate the examples to their own
sports' performance. The books are written in a friendly and straightforward
style by a team of experienced educators from a range of institutions.
